# Make films with Rasu AI and Claude

> Connect Rasu AI to Claude, start a project, and generate your first character and shots without leaving the chat.

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cynR6iFHmcE (19:53, recorded 22 September 2026). Shows Settings, Script, Sequences, Assets and Library.

Rasu AI keeps your story, your characters and every shot consistent from one episode to the next. You do the talking in Claude, and Rasu AI does the remembering. This tutorial connects the two, walks through the four tabs of a project, and ends with a character made from your own photo and a finished shot on your desktop.

## What you need

* A Rasu AI account.
* A paid plan with Claude, ChatGPT or Codex, and that app's desktop version installed. The video uses Claude.

## Connect Rasu AI to Claude

Do this once, before you make your first project.

1. In Rasu AI, open your profile, then **Settings**, then **Connect AI tools**.
2. Copy the address for your app. Claude has its own; ChatGPT and Codex share one.
3. In Claude, open **Settings**, then **Connectors**, and choose **Add custom connector**.
4. Paste the address and name the connector Rasu AI.
5. Sign in to your Rasu AI account when Claude asks.

Rasu AI now shows up in Claude's list of connectors.

## Use Claude Code, not Cowork

Work with Rasu AI from Claude Code. Cowork runs on separate machinery, and Claude Code can do more on your computer and offers more models to think with.

If you skipped the steps above, you can also paste the connector address straight into a Claude Code chat and ask it to connect to Rasu AI. Claude tells you when it's done.

## Make a folder and a project

Make a new folder on your computer for everything this project generates, and open it in Claude. You'll watch your images and videos arrive there and in the chat, so there's no need to switch back to the website.

Then ask for the project in plain words, for example:

> Create a new project in Personal called Test.

Claude creates it in Rasu AI for you. Every project has four tabs: **Script**, **Sequences**, **Assets** and **Library**.

## The Script tab

Your script lives here. You can type it on the page, but it's better to give it to Claude, which can think it through before handing it over.

From the script, Rasu AI writes the story's spine: a logline, the dramatic question, the stakes and the tone. It also finds every character and writes a description of each one. That description stays fixed until you change it, which is how a character looks and behaves the same in episode one and episode five hundred.

Rasu AI also notices the connections between characters:

* **Groups.** Say six characters form a band called C-Sharp. Rasu AI notes it on each of them, and from then on "C-Sharp" brings all six into a shot.
* **Story beats.** When characters meet, Rasu AI records the moment and the episode. If you later say they met in episode three when it was really episode five, Rasu AI points that out.

## The Sequences tab

Rasu AI breaks your script into scenes, scenes into sequences, and sequences into shots, then drafts a shot list for you to approve in Claude.

You can be as specific as you like. Dictating works well: "Shot one, a medium close-up of A, B and C side by side. Shot two, a 45-degree tilt up." Rasu AI records every detail on the shot. Or describe only what happens and let Claude and Rasu AI plan the shots for you.

Before anything is generated, you can ask for a storyboard: a set of sketches of the shots to check and approve.

## The Assets tab

Assets are the characters, places and props in your story, and this tab shows how consistent they are. Every one follows the same style.

That style is set once per project, in the **Style Guide** on the Sequences tab. The video's project asked for an animated look early on, and every character, scene and prop since has followed it.

## Create a character from a photo

Give Claude a photo of a face and a short instruction, for example:

> Create a new character sheet using this face. Call the character Kris, put it in my project, and keep the same style. Use GPT Image 2.

That's all it needs. Generating a character takes a couple of minutes.

## The Library tab

The Library holds everything you've generated in the project. You'll rarely need it: everything also shows up in Claude, and in the folder you gave Claude to save into.

## Start your own project

Have your idea or script ready, then either:

* **Drop the script into Claude** as a PDF. Claude asks a few questions to clear things up, you confirm, and it carries on.
* **Tell Claude your idea.** Claude asks back about the story beats, then gets started.

Either way, Rasu AI then creates the characters, the story beats and a storyboard for you to approve before anything is generated.

## Check the new character

Back on the Assets tab, the new character appears in the project's style, under the name you gave it, with a written description of how it looks. From now on, naming that character is enough to bring it into a shot.

## Generate shots from Claude

You can generate shots from the same chat, for example:

> Generate a video of me running around Singapore's Gardens by the Bay, 21:9, realistic style.

The video appears in Claude and in the folder you gave it.

## Finish in your own editor

Rasu AI makes the shots. For now, you put them together in your own editor, such as CapCut, Final Cut Pro or Premiere Pro, and add your music there.
